Selecting the right stove for your needs… When selecting a stove, there are so many options to consider. We can help! Finding the right stove to suit your heating needs with a look and appearance that compliments your home can be daunting without the right expert help. At Energysavers, you’ll find the expertise and help you’re looking for, as well as a variety of stove makes and models to choose from that are distinct in character and quality. Our stoves burn various clean fuel sources including wood, pellet fuel, and gas. With the high cost of heating oil, heating with a wood, gas, or pellet fuel stove allows you to save money by putting the heat where you need it most with zone heating. Zone heating is not a new concept and has been practiced widely in many parts of the world, and it is a great way to save money. The premise is quite basic: Turning back the central heating system in your home and using a high efficiency wood, gas, or pellet stove in selected areas for additional warmth in the rooms used most often allows you to dramatically reduce total home heating costs. Over a surprisingly short time, the savings can easily offset the initial investment in a new stove from Energysavers, making “zone heating” a very wise investment. You can reduce your heating bills and live green by utilizing renewable fuels. Pellet fuel is the cleanest burning biomass fuel available, and our wood and gas stoves are EPA-certified and very clean-burning.

Several factors come into play in determining the make, model, and size of your new stove, including the overall size or cubic footage of the home or room, the aesthetic you hope to achieve, the design of your home, the draft conditions of your chimney, and how well your dwelling is insulated. Will the area you wish us to install your heating appliance allow for minimum clearances and be in compliance with local building codes? Are you seeking to supplement a primary heat source, provide zone heating in your home, or a back-up heating source? You’ll also want to be sure you have the right size: Too large or too small a stove can create problems; select a stove that is oversized and creosote or smoke problems can occur, and an undersized stove can lead to “over firing”, which given time may result in warped or cracked parts. Ensuring all these factors are known and taken into consideration is just one of the reasons why we always recommend a free site inspection by one of our Dedicated Hearth Advisors as an integral part of the award winning and highly recommended purchase experience at Energysavers. You’ll also want to make sure that your stove is installed properly and safely by fully certified and experienced installation technicians.
