This will make them the highest heat delivering stoves ever produced. Very few of those “junk” pieces will be leaving the stove, but instead, will all be re-burned.

A wood burning stove features a relatively sealed combustion, allowing less heat to be lost up the chimney. By burning and re-burning most of the exhaust gases, very little heat from each piece of wood is wasted. In many ways, making wood burning stoves are better at delivering heat to your home.
